Later that day, the delegation visited Rising Star Children’s Home, popularly known as the Dodowa Children’s Home, where they were welcomed by caregivers and introduced to the home’s work in caring for 27 children. The team donated food supplies, toiletries, educational materials, learning resources, and recreational items to support the children’s daily needs and development.

A particularly meaningful moment was the presentation of a wheelchair to a young girl whom the delegation had met during a previous visit and noticed had difficulty moving around and participating fully with the other children. Having promised to return with a wheelchair, the team fulfilled that promise, bringing joy to the child and caregivers. The visit concluded with discussions on the home’s priority needs, a prayer of thanksgiving, the signing of the visitors’ and donation register, and a group photograph.
